To promote the welfare and interests of older people within the Forest of Dean and district. Provide a Forum where matters of concern can be raised and policies developed. Act as a campaigning organisation in making representation to local, regional and national authorities and bodies. To recruit members and hold regular meetings. To network with other bodies in furthering members interests. To produce a members newsletter and publish promotional material. Be a democratic non political and non profit making organisation.

To campaign (along with the national organisation IsItFair http://www.isitfair.co.uk/) for Council Tax to be levied on the  ability to pay.
